Totally disagree with E Online. Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana fans are not all following her, and the numbers are poor. For a Holiday weekend and opening on a Wednesday the numbers are pathetic. Do not forget that the writer himself has a large fan base. Whatever the reason behind their post is, I cannot agree. I would totally watch the movie, the book is very good, not great but I am also not inclined to watch Miley Cyurs in a love story. I am too old, dare I say……. I will watch it when it makes it to Red Box….. These are the weekend numbers are reported by Variety

The Last Song, Miley Cyrus’ first major venture without Hannah Montana, sounded about right: a fourth-place debut, a $16.2 million Friday-Sunday.
